I’ll retcon if so. Headcanon lol: The original stock character Pantalone from Commedia dell'arte is usually the father to one of the innamorati (the lovers) and this low key feeds into my delusion that Gopher Wood (it's the same picture) is a Pantalone variant who also happened to act as the adoptive father of Robin and Sunday in HSR. So if or when needed, I might assign Pants an adopted successor of his wealth, but whether he adopts out of the goodness of his heart or just another scheme will be handled on a case by case basis depending on the thread. My read on him so far is that he's not a good person, and Arlecchino also describes him as someone with a lot of hatred in his heart. I don't think he has an idea of how to be a proper father when he's so busy with his Harbinger duties and schemes. Time will tell, though and I'll...
